Is it true that if you ask a question and receive no answers after 3 days, Y!A takes 10 points from you?

Do you think it's fair? I mean, it's not our fault if we ask something and no one knows the answer, right?... It never happened to me, but I don't think it's fair.Is it true that if you ask a question and receive no answers after 3 days, Y!A takes 10 points from you?
Nope not at all, And if no one answer's your question you can choose to delete the question if you get to it before its deleted from Y/A's. I had to do that the other day because No one answered my question. It was a first in a while. But I got an answer that I needed from asking someone else here locally. Here is the point system. http://answers.yahoo.com/info/scoring_sy鈥?/a>Is it true that if you ask a question and receive no answers after 3 days, Y!A takes 10 points from you?
I don't know about that but if your answer is found in violation they take 10 points away and the 2 thay gave you for answering. This happened to me this week. Makes me wonder if was voted best answer and then found in violation because of the adult humor.
No its not. If it doesn't get an answer in 4 days, it will get deleted and you will get back the 5 points that it costed to ask the question.
the question was withheld probably because of the nature of the question/category or sometimes questions was pushed down the list off the ';front page'; before someone could answer.

At any rate it is your responsibility to monitor your questions and after one day with no answer you can elect to delete it and get the 5 points back.
that is untrue.

they return back five points.
