Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great. surah 4:34.. it means you can beat a woman if she doesnt obey her husband? what does mean this verse for the islam?Question about Koran is that true this verse about women in Islam?
Your quotation is not so right.Surah 4 An Nisaa (women) verse 34 of the holy Qur'an God spoke Men are leaders (not maintainers) of women because Allah (the only one God)has given more to men than women and because they (men)have spent out part of their (men)property (income) for women.That is why good (sholehah)women are they (women) who obey or devote to Allah and maintain themselves (they act properly no fraud,keep the secret and property of their husbands) if their husbands were going out because Allah has maintained them/women (Allah has given obligation to all husbands to treat well and gently their wives).Women whose husbands fear that their wives will be nusyuz (do not comply to the wife's obligation such as going out of their homes with out husbands'permission) please advise them(womem),and then make them bed separation and (at last) beat them (if necessary).And then if they (women) obey you ,do not seek a way to make them in difficulties or trouble or misery.Surely Allah is omni High and omni Great..

s)Husbands can beat their wives if they do not obey and disregard to their obligations .But in the hadith Muhammad pbuh spoke the beating should be given without wound and misery..So it should be done gently and no hard as a warning only.The beating is the last effort if husband's advice and separation of bed room do not make the wife is aware or conscious to her obligations..It means that husband can not do hardness or harshness or forces to his wife.He should act tenderly and politely and respectly although his wife made a mistake..Question about Koran is that true this verse about women in Islam?
Exactly what it says. You can beat a woman under some circumstances.
I do not know what this verse means for the Islam...but for me it means I could never be a part of this religion. Okay?
And if you scroll down the page you see Christians saying women should not speak in church. What else is new? Misogyny is everywhere.
