True/False - Gas Characteristic Question?

Gases are different from solids and liquids because gases have average densities on the order of 10-3 g/mL.

I'm guessing that this is true because gases tend to have lower densities than solids and liquids. What do you think?True/False - Gas Characteristic Question?
air has a density of about 1.29 grams / litre

that's 1.29 X 10^-3 grams / ml

=================================

gases become a touch more dense at STP

that STP., the density is found by

dividing the molar mass of the gas by the STP molar volume 22,400 ml,

carbon monoxide: 28 g/22,400 ml = 1.25 e-3 g/ml

oxygen 32g/22400ml = 1.4 e-3 g/ml

yes there will be exceptions,

but it is true enough
