For true NFL fans, a question?

If you were to be given the opportunity to have any current or former NFL player join you for your Sunday games...who would it be and why?

For me it would be Montana-I made the mistake of betting my Mom in his first Super Bowl against Marino (because I was so taken by statistics...I have since learned my lesson) and she took me for 16 bucks. From those new commericals he seems to have a sense of humor (plus obvious football talent)...be great to watch ball, talk the game, and have a beer. For true NFL fans, a question?
I'd be with Walter Payton. Great player, fast, catches a lot of the footballs thrown to him, and his speed added to his amazing rushing yards. Since he played on one of the best teams, it'd be really fun watching a Sunday game with him, especially a Bears game.

A Bears vs. Packers game would be interesting with Walter Payton. For true NFL fans, a question?
Ocho-Cinco for sure... watching a game w/ Chad Johnson would be entertaining to say the least

Walter Payton for sure, he was a great guy to watch games with. I knew his son Jarrett Payton, he was good friends with a friend of mine and we used to go watch Bears games at his house in South Barrington, IL.

Someone that I've never watched a game with though, I'd take Jerry Rice.
I think I would choose Howie Long. My old lady is absolutely in love with this guy, and she could bother him while I actually got to enjoy a complete Super Bowl. Maybe even get him to grab a beer for me.
Tony Dungy or Bill Parcells, they both know their football, and have made winners out of teams with losing records
John Elway!
Montana's first Super Bowl was against Cincinati in '81. They played Marino and the Dolphins in '84, their second Super Bowl.
Brett Favre, I know he is the interception king and everything, but he is a very smart quarterback and knows when to pass the ball. He almost lead the Packers to the superbowl this year but I plainly think the Pack had a bad game. So that's who I'd choose.
The original L.T.
marshall faulk
Brett Favre, though he couldnt join in a sunday game.. cause hes probably coming back (I HOPE.) so we'd go for a monday game!, Reggie White, Jim Kelly, Walter Payton (regardless if theres a ';packers bears rivalry';, Dan Marino, John Elway, Joe Cool, and alot more.
I have to go with Emmitt Smith, I just loved to watch him play, and he seems to have a good sense of humor, fun guy to hang out with...
Terry Bradshaw. He seems like a fun guy to be around, even though he was hit in the head a little too often during his glory days. Plus I'm a huge Steelers fan.
Marshall Faulk or John Elway. My two favorite players, who both seem to be very intelligent and very personable.
Two way tie... I'm a COWBOYS fan... I'd wanna meet Walter Peyton aka Sweetness... he was what class was all about... and Reggie White the Minister of Defense... he'd knock a guy out n help him up... we don't see that now a days... remember when trent green got knocked out n that other fool looked down on him n taunted him?! What the F is that?!

N Reggie just seemed like a positive guy to be around... we need more players like him in the league!!!
Gale Sayers
Keyshawn Johnson or Tom Jackosn. Have you seen NFL Countdown, they light that joint up and they have Super Bowl Rings. Funny guys and know what they talking about. Brett Favre or Clinton Portis would be cool, cause they Skins and I love my Skins.
I would like Mean Joe Greene to join me...and bring a Coke to drink too (#1 rated Super Bowl commercial still).
Gosh so many. I thought Aikman did a terrific job on the Super Bowl, very insightful. He did for football what Joe Morgan does for baseball. But I'm not a Cowboy fan, so being a Jet fan, I'd have to go with a Jet.

Vinnie Testaverde although he was a Panther last yr.

Ken O'Brien

Chad Pennington

Joe Namath

Al Toon

Keyshawn Johnson

Mo Lewis

Jumbo Elliott

Kevin Mawae (can't believe they let him goto Tenn.!)

Wayne Chrebet

Curtis Martin

Boomer Esiason

Bill Belichick .......... NOT!

If it were a non-Jet, I'd go with Merton Hanks just to see the Bert Dance one more time. Can't find it anywhere on the Web!

If I have to pick just one, I'd say Jumbo Elliott, just because we have several friends in common. A good friend of mine is his cousin, and I have a lot of friends he knew from his days at Michigan. I'd ask him about the TD catch against the Dolphins on MNF. I about jumped through the ceiling when that happened! LOL
John Elway hands down!
RON JAWARSKI, HE'S VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND CAN BREAK DOWN FILM. IT WOULD GIVE YOU A LOT OF AMMO AT THE WATER COOLER ON MONDAY MORNING.
There are two guys that come to mind right off the bat. Sweetness (Walter Payton) and Barry Sanders. These guys played the game the way it should be played. Both were unselfish and off the field you never had to worry. They were in shape for camp and leaders on the field with their playing doing the talking for them.
Id pick Tom Brady because id make him admit the Pats cheated on Rams in SB 36, haha
