Probabilities can't be added when events are independent.
A. True
B. FalseTrue or false probability question?
True I think.True or false probability question?
I assume you mean, the probability for
P(A 鈭?B) given P(A) and P(B)
If A and B are independent:
P(A 鈭?B) = 1 - (1 - P(A))(1-P(B))
And
P(A 鈭?B) = P(A) x P(B)
But if A and B are exclusive:
P(A 鈭?B) = P(A) + P(B)
And
P(A 鈭?B) = 0
False, this question is to general. There are some cases where yes it will work out, but there are others where it will not.
Let A and B be two independent events,
P(A %26amp; B) = P(A) * P(B)
P(A OR B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A %26amp; B)
false, that's why its called probability..
false
