Why do people keep saying they found the Ark? They found a blip on a satellite photo (not on Mt. Ararat, BTW), but no archaeologist believes it is a boat on a mountain. This reminds me of the Shroud of Turin story, which also busted ... the lesson should be that it is really a bad idea to hitch your faith up to a speculative scientific discovery you think ';proves'; your religion ... because these things can turn out to be bogus.

It builds in an unavoidable crisis ... a showdown between the scientific community and the religious leaders who will both view the evidence in opposite ways. Laypeople end up having to choose one or the other (science or religion), and either way these laypeople lose. And in the long run, religion loses (as the Church learned with Galileo), as a growing science always has an advantage against an unchanging literalist religion.
Yes its true. The ark has been located on mt. Ararat in Turkey. God is supernatural and can do anything but fail or sin.When He told Noah to build the ark there had been no rain before. It took faith on Noah's part to obey. Of course there were skeptics then, but they all died in the flood.
with god all things are possible. i believe that noah built the ark and it rained and killed who god was unhappy with. god gave us free will and that was proven back in genises with adam and eve and the apple. The free will sort of got out of control in sodam and gamora. God was very unhappy. that is when he called upon his true follower noah to help save the animals of the world so they could flurish in a new place. I suppose you also don't believe in the story of moses and the parting of the red sea.
