Birth control question. Is this true?

I do a lot of reading about birth control and things like that (I've been on the Pill for about fourteen weeks) since I'm sexually active with my boyfriend.

I've read that after you go off of BC pills, you are very fertile. That's okay, too, because I am not going to go off of them for another five years or until I get married.

But...

I also read that if you are on birth control pills to regulate your period like I am, you aren't going to be more fertile than the average woman after stopping the pills.

Is that true?

Also, will my periods be irregular again when I go off of them?

Please state your sources. Thanks!Birth control question. Is this true?
I really don't think that the birth control pills know why you are taking them, just that you are. So you would be fertile to the same degree whether for regularity or to keep from getting pregnant.

Some women are still irregular and some aren't, it is an individual thing so you will just have to wait and see. I took them starting at 14 years old for regularity, I was on them for three months and off for three months. During the three months off I would become irregular again, but after 20 years old was as regular as clockwork, every 30 days without fail.

best wishes..Birth control question. Is this true?
