Never got around asking this question, but I remember reading somewhere that the main reason why they had Goku give up against cell and sacrifice his life was to Introduce Gohan as the main character after the Cell Saga. But due to popular demand, complaints, and I guess you can say outburst, that Akira decided to keep Goku as the main character and hero rather than the transition of Gohan being Earths new great protector.Dragon ball z question, is this true?
i think it was because he was more power full than goko
