I always try to be truthful. I try to do it in a tactful and humorous manner. Sometimes it doesn't matter how tactful you are , they are still going to run you down because your truth isn't theirs. I can accept that. We are all on different paths and our truths can be different as well. We all have a bit of the ultimate truth (what ever that is) in each one of us. I don't give a hoot about the points, you get two for answering anyways, and I try to give them the truth as I see it, but truth is subjective.
I give the true answer, based on what I know. Sometimes I'll speculate but I'll characterize it as such.





Problem is, if there is an answer the questioner wants from the start, they'll just wait for that one person who gives it and choose that as ';best answer'; even in a sea of people telling them the truth.
It seems to bee with most people on Answers, too bad too! But Ethics never was Mans strong suit, so thank God for Jesus!
The true answer is the best way to go.


When we ask a question that has two possible answers, the truth and what we what to hear, we know that by purposing the question we want the truth but sometimes the truth may hurt. If we didn't want the truth, we wouldn't ask I guess. I always give the true answer and I have mad people mad before but they usually get over it and thank me in the end.
I give my answer, and try to wrap it in a way that it sounds like a different opinion, not a ';I'm right'; stick. Direct and respectful creates the possibility of conversation.
I don't treat this like a game. Its fun to get points, but if I am not sure of an answer, I say so, I also sometimes comment on how the answerer's have helped me. It's great if my answer helps someone, because reading others answers have helped me. That is the way it should be: Symbiotic. If I don't think I have any knowledge to contribute, I just read without answering. I think it is wrong to just make something up. I would not like someone to do that to me.
a person should not get addicted to points. trouble is when a question is asked a message is received telling the questioner that they have lost five points .then the person is told they can regain them by answering questions.tempting .a person should make sure the 2 points are earned but sometimes they succumb anyway. or they receive an answer they expect but are still hoping there is an answer so to speak. then there is the accusation of points gaming. well is it not turned into one if points are added or deducted. some have suggested removing all the points. even if the questioner is clear in what is wanted sometimes the questioner can like the answers. even if a question is honest it should not be rude like ''go get an education'' honesty is best but not being rude.
I would give the true answer----the points don't mean that much to me----Blessings!

carefully and with empathy and I can usually tell which ones


they are. Still, that never stops anyone from giving you a


thumbs down.
I always give the truth.
I try to answer as honestly and accurately as I can. I've actually had a couple of questioners call me rude because I didn't give the answer they wanted to hear- even though I've never answered in a disrespectful way.

i always answer to the best of my ability, i try and put good thought into my answers and i am honest in the answer. i could go all sarcastic and answer every question, just for the 2 points...but I'm happy to say, i have earned all my points.
